Schulich MBA – York University
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Schulich offers a number of variations on both the Full-Time MBA and the Part-Time MBA. For Full-Time students, a MBA program, an International MBA, and an Accelerated MBA for Business Undergraduates are available. The Full-Time MBA can be completed in 16 months and has both a January and September intake. The Part-Time MBA is offered at both the Keele Campus as well as at Schulich’s campus in downtown Toronto. There is also a weekend only part-time program offered at the Keele Campus. The Part-Time MBA can be completed in 40 months and has September, January, and May intake.
Schulich is not AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) Accredited. Schulich also does not hold EQUIS or Association of MBA’s accreditation.
Schulich MBA (York) Rankings
Schulich is ranked 49th in the Financial Times MBA Rankings 2009. Over the last 3 years, Schulich has been stuck in essentially the same spot (49,48,49). Schulich’s large drop in the rankings corresponded with an increased presence from International Schools in the FT rankings. Compared to other Canadian schools, Schulich is 3rd, although both Rotman and Ivey are only 1 place ahead of Schulich.
Schulich ranks very poorly on the QS Global 200 Business School rankings. Given the stature of Schulich and its high rankings with FT this is very surprising. This could indicate the Schulich grads tend to stay within Canada post-graduation.
