Guelph has moved into offering their programs through a blended format.  This entails mainly online course delivery with some mandatory on-campus sessions.  The program is comprised of either 14 courses, or 12 courses with a major research project.  You would need to complete one of the areas of specialization, but taking 3 courses in this area (leaving either 9 or 11 courses).

Guelph is well-known for the Food and Agriculture programs across Canada, so this specialization within their MBA program makes a lot of sense.  They also have a School of Hospitality, Food and Tourism Management, so this specialization also plays to their strengths as a University.

Employment Summary

3-Month Placement Rate: N/A
Average Salary: N/A
Average Salary Increase: N/A

Guelph doesn't list employment figures for their MBA program.  As the focus is on their online programs with students working Full-Time, most of these metrics wouldn't apply and the salary figures would be tied to the position a student enters the program with.

Summary

The current MBA program is built around two very unique areas (Agribusiness and Hospitality) and one area that is becoming increasingly common in Canada.  As a less well known MBA program this makes sense and offering the programs online rather than in person will allow Guelph to attract more of the individuals focusing in these areas.  The program is open to international students, however the program delivery format isn't well designed for international students to acclimatize and stay in Canada.

If you currently in either agribusiness or hospitality, this program would be a very good option.  However, if you aren't currently in these areas or sustainable business, Guelph is probably not the right school for you.
